White Fir
Abies concolor
This outstanding evergreen is native to the western and south-western part of the United States and into Mexico. The steel-blue foliage easily rivals and often surpasses that of Colorado Blue Spruce. Even better, they are relatively free of disease and pest problems. There is one disclaimer though: Concolor Firs require well-drained soils.
