Purple Candles Astilbe
Astilbe chinensis ‘Purple Candles’
Almost no perennial can rival the floral affect of an astible in bloom. But even the foliage is attractive and can provide a textural contrast to hosta in a shade garden. This variety is much taller than most other astible and has very nice purple flowers.
