Hillside Black Beauty Black Snakeroot (Bugbane)
Actaea simplex ‘Hillside Black Beauty’
This is an extremely tall perennial! The long flower spikes are white with a touch of pink and very fragant. But the flowers are by no means the whole story. The lobed foliage is dark colored throughout the growing season and can provide interesting contrast in partly shaded areas. Formerly named Cimicifuga simplex ‘Hillside Black Beauty’.
