Kentucky Coffeetree
Gymnocladus dioicus
Very tough, large tree suitable for wet or dry sites. Typically has no real insect or disease problems. Greenish white flowers May/June, 5″-10″-long seed pods change from green to brown. Bright, clear yellow fall color. Iowa Native.
